Nice idea to use Yodio there, although remember that Yodio uses a cell phone and not a computer. So, there might be some potential challenges with admin of using phones in the classroom. BUT... with your class, I could see it as really motivating for them to use their phones (although you would have to monitor that they are staying on task and calling who they were supposed to be calling).
This is a really neat way for students to do something like this, and something I think you should seriously consider trying in the future.
